Institute of Space Technology (IST) announced registration dates for Undergraduate admissions 2018. Admission dates of undergraduate BS programs for 2018 session has been started. Institute of Space Technology (IST) was established with the aim to provide education in space technology and relevant sciences in 2002 and situated in Islambad. IST has earned good reputation among engineering universities of Pakistan. In 2010 higher education commission (HEC) has ranked IST among top 10 engineering universities of Pakistan. IST offer many undergraduate, Graduate and PHD programs.

Registration dates for undergraduate admissions at Institute of Space Technology (IST) has been started and last date to apply for undergraduate BS programs is 30th June 2018. No application will be entertained after deadline.

Institute of Space Technology (IST) accept test results of NTS NAT-1E for all undergraduate programs and NTS NAT-1ICS test result is only acceptable for BS Space Sciences. Students willing to apply on the basis of NTS NAT- 1E and NTS NAT-1ICS should note that the NAT test taken from 1st July 2017 to 5th August 2018 is only acceptable for undergraduate admissions 2018. IST also accept test score of Aptitude test (HAT) conducted by HEC. HEC test HAT-UG-E result is acceptable for all undergraduate programs where as HAT-UG-CS result is only applicable for Non-engineering programs. Candidates willing to get admission in IST on the basis of test conducted by HEC (HAT-UG-E and HAT-UG-CS) must appeared in the test taken from 1st July 2017 to 5th August 2018. Only test result between specified dates are acceptable for undergraduate admissions.

Eligibility Criteria for IST Undergraduate Admissions:

Candidates applying for undergraduate programs at Institute of Space and Technology (IST) must fulfill following criteria

  • Matric/SSC or equivalent with minimum 60% marks.
  • FSC/HSSC (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent  with minimum 60% marks.
  • Student must have 60% marks in each subject (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry).
  • Students with A level background must have equivalency certificate issued by IBCC Islamabad.
  • Student must have 50% marks in NTS NAT test or HAT-UG test.

2% seats are reserved for students having DAE background. Students applying on reserved seats for Diploma of Associate Engineering must have passed from a Board of Technical Education in relevant Technology.  Students willing to apply for  reserved seats of DAE must passed diploma in relevant field.
